Imaging

We offer many advanced imaging modalities that are often not available at smaller practices. We work extensively with board certified radiologists via telemedicine when necessary. Modalities available at our practice include digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, MRI and CT. We offer also offer hip dysplasia radiographs (PennHIP) and arthritis radiographs along with other imaging services.

Canine Hip Dysplasia- PennHIP testing and OFA certification

If you or your dog has ever suffered from hip arthritis, you know first-hand how painful and debilitating this condition can be. There are now screening tests available to predict which dogs are most at risk for developing this disease. Our veterinarians have undergone training to become certified in performing PennHIP testing.

While dogs of all ages can benefit from PennHIP testing, we recommend testing dogs as early as possible (puppies that are 16 weeks old).With this information, we can help prevent and treat painful arthritis (OA) caused by canine hip dysplasia.
